About Jay's Car Wash/ self service
Located at 11497 Toepperwein Rd, Live Oak, TX 78233, Jay's Car Wash/ self service operates as a car wash serving Live Oak in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Great self-service car wash! The pressure washer had excellent water pressure, the property was clean and well maintained, and the prices were very affordable. I definitely recommend it if youβre looking for a quick and inexpensive place to wash your vehicle. It takes credit card or quarters.

My favorite self service car wash. Every time I come here, thereβs someone taking care of and cleaning the facility. Use to live near by, now I have to drive 20-25 minutes because I all I ever see around San Antonio is trendy drive through car wash that scratch up your car.

I stopped here because of the location. You can use cash or a credit card. The bays were clear and clean. Options to purchase cloth is a convenient feature. I didn't use the vacuum but several were available. Decent place and I'll probably go again

This car wash has always presented itself as a well cared for business since I've been washing my many cars here over the past 25-30 years! I don't even live in the area anymore and I still come through even with all that awful IH 35 construction ramp-over nightmare! It's nice to have Jay's car wash still here on the northeast side off to toppewein road in live oak! I believe it's the owner or perhaps it's a very long time Android but I seem to see him out there every week keeping up the place. They have a lot of pride in their business and it shows.

Hands down the best self service car wash I've ever been to!!! After getting my truck dirty I looked up car washes , and found this one to be the best rated in my area and headed that way. Coming to find out that the HOT water was doing an amazing job at removing mud. And to help the Hot water had powerful pressure. Once I pulled my tuck out I began cleaning the mud from the floor. The owner showed up with a shovel and told me not to worry about it he'll take care of it.Great customer service!! Who would have thought that at a self service car wash. The vaccum cleaner's had great suction and the owner also provides shampoo for the carpet. Overall had an amazing experience.
